Stinging, pulling, throbbing or even hammering - pain can come in many different forms. But they all have one thing in common: pain is a burden. If it is chronic pain, it can even permanently restrict the lives of those affected.
The Centre for Special Pain Medicine specializes in the targeted treatment of pain using innovative methods. Patients come to the pain clinic in Lüdenscheid from all over Germany with pain that is resistant to treatment, after they have already been considered to be out of therapy elsewhere.
Treatment is carried out in accordance with the current guidelines for the treatment of acute and chronic pain. In addition to recognized medicinal procedures for outpatients and inpatients, minimally invasive procedures are used in the pain clinic with a surgical area. In addition to standard procedures, various injection therapies as well as acupuncture and magnetic field stimulation (superinductive stimulation) in the spine, joint, head and neck area are also carried out, as well as nerve blocks, facet injections, sympathetic blocks and periarticular injections.
The therapy procedure is individually adapted to the patient and their needs.
